7 Lakes Country Park – Lakes and Events

Set in beautiful woodland, surrounded by quality fishing lakes and tranquil waterside path ways, 7 Lakes Country Park offers the perfect setting for truly enjoying a different way of life.

The largest lake is the 40 acre Clearwater Lake and is used for water sports and fishing. Time on the lake is scheduled, to allow a separation between Powered and non-powered craft.

You can enjoy watching the powered craft on Clearwater Lake. The professionally designed course gives the Jet Skiers an opportunity to challenge themselves and there are special areas for practicing speed, slalom and tricks, so there is lots to watch.

As a guest, you are able to use Clearwater Lake for your own un-powered craft but powered craft are available only for owners. If you want to become an owner, talk to Gavin in the office.

Sailing Dinghy’s must be under 4.3m long. Any craft with a sail (eg sailboat or windsurfer) must have valid insurance.

Take the opportunity to bring your sail boat, windsurf board, kayak, canoe or paddle board and explore the lake at your own leisure. For the Sailors practice your Sailing ready for the 7 Lakes Sailing regatta in the summer.

During the quiet lake hours, why not try a spot of boat fishing? Why restrict yourself to a fishing peg when you can take to the water with your kit to try and land some really big specimens? What could be more relaxing than whiling away the hours bobbing about on the water?
