Discovering a Fire

Raise the alarm by operating the nearest fire alarm call point, sounding the alarm by ringing the triangle and shouting FIRE FIRE FIRE.

Evacuate the building to a safe place.

Only trained persons to tackle the fire where appropriate.

Where appropriate, check to see if the Caravan is free from people.

If you have any responsibilities for assisting persons with difficulties, shout for help.

Leave the building by the nearest exit.

Do not stop to return or collect any personal belongings.

Ensure that visitors are escorted from the caravan.

Close any doors en-route without delaying your escape.

If it is safe to do so, turn off the gas cylinders.

You must remain in a safe place.

Return to the building only when authorised to do so.
